Inghams Overseas Job Opportunities

Resort Managers/Experienced Representatives required for immediate start until Apr - (various locations)

For the positions available you are required to have previous experience working overseas as a Resort Representative or Resort Manager and possess excellent organisational, leadership and language skills ( French or German).

Resort Managers must have at least 2 seasons experience as a Resort Representative. You will be required to manage a small team within the area and will be responsible for the running of resort/accounts and supporting the team of Representatives, we require you to maintain high standards and service levels and produce results by utilising skills and knowledge of your team and motivating them towards success.

This is a very hands-on role where you will be required to lead by example whilst still developing your team with constructive feedback, support and training.

Requirements

-  Resort Managers 2-3 seasons experience as a Overseas representative

-  Representatives 1-2 seasons experience in an Overseas Resort ( preferably Ski)

Skills for both positions

-  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-  Strong organisational and leadership skills

-  Ability to ski (Winter positions only) - intermediate level ( assist with Meet the Piste duties)

-  Computer literate, numerate with good attention to detail- ability to use excel and Microsoft word

-  Results oriented and profit focused

-  Diplomacy a must, with the ability to maintain discipline and correct shortfalls in performance and behaviour

-  Conversational in French or German

Resort Representatives

Working alone in a small resort or part of a team of reps in a larger resort, your duties will be varied and challenging with no two days the same, that is why many staff return to us year after year.

In order to maintain our excellent reputation and provide our clients with the highest level of service and standards, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have personality, skills and commitment, a confident and mature outlook, excellent communication and customer service skills and able to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Duties to include transfers to and from the airport and regular visits to accommodation to offer assistance and information to guests, Presenting informative and interesting welcome meetings ; selling of local excursions) in order to enhance service and increase revenue. Organising and guiding excursions and activities and completing of financial control reports.

 

Resort Managers

You will have previous experience working overseas as a Representative and possess excellent organisational, leadership and language skills. You will be required to manage your own team within an area or will be responsible for the overall running of resort in an area, maintaining high standards and service levels and produce results by utilising skills and knowledge of your team and motivating them towards success.
