Our Italy holidays this year offer a choice of no fewer than six lakes. The three best known, Garda, Como and Maggiore, in northern Italy and are represented with a wide selection of hotels, and resorts of all kinds. Less well-known Lake Trasimeno is on the Umbria/Tuscany border; a lovely base from which to explore this historic region. You can combine Trasimeno and also Lake Bolsena with a stay in Rome, the Eternal City. And Lake Iseo delighted many Inghams guests when we introduced it last year. It is perfect for anyone looking for somewhere a little quieter and less developed.
