Summer in the Lakes & Mountains means unstoppable fun and action as resorts are geared up with activities to keep all the family entertained. Tourist offices often run a programme of events that you can join for free. From bike rides to adventure trails, pony & llama trekking, aqua parks and summer tobogganing there is no shortage of adventures for all ages to explore.
Free Child Places and Special Child Prices
We are pleased to offer free holidays for children aged 2-11 for selected flights and hotels across Europe.

Conditions
• To qualify children must be aged 2-11 inclusive and share a room with 2 adults
• Free places are subject to availability on a first come first served basis and limited to one per booking
• Free places are only available on full brochure price holidays and cannot be combined with any other discount
• Normal prices apply for flight, room supplements and excursions
• *Charter flights apply to Austria and Italy only
• *Self drive rates apply to France only

Many hotels run kids’ clubs, kindergartens and weekly activity programmes free to children staying at the hotel. Activities run throughout the day and vary from face-painting to sports days and treasure hunts. Family rooms sleeping 4-6, suites and apartments offer good family space and hotels will usually provide an early high tea for younger children.

Swiss Family Card (Included)
Families travelling to Switzerland benefit from the Swiss Family Card. This gives free travel to children aged 6 to 15 years inclusive on most of Switzerland’s excellent public transport, including the mainline rail network, most mountain railways, postbuses and lake ferries and steamers. Children under 6 yrs travel free without the Family Card. Ages must be advised at the time of booking so that we can send the Family Card with your travel documents. Children must be accompanied by at least one parent holding a valid travel ticket. If you have children in your party travelling without a parent, e.g. with grandparents, you must let us know prior to booking. In this case, we will provide a half-price card for the children. The Family Card is not available with self-drive holidays or bookings with car hire.
