Rome & The Tiber Valley

3 Centre Holiday

Explore the untouched beauty of the Italian countryside and the sights of the capital of Rome. The Tiber Valley (Umbria and Lazio) is relatively unknown areas of Italy that are waiting to be explored. Just south of Tuscany, Umbria has the same look and feel as its famous neighbour, however is not frequented as much by the avid tourist. The scenery that surrounds Lake Trasimeno is breathtaking with rolling green hills topped with the most recognisable Cypress trees. Whilst in Umbria you can explore the sites of Assisi and Perugia, and moving a little further south towards Rome is the region of Lazio, home to the beautiful lake of Bolsena, and an expanse of countryside which once seen is never forgotten. Relatively new on the list for tourists, Lazio and Bolsena remain quietly untouched, and are ideal for discovering a special part of Italy.
