Valley Explorer (walking holiday)

Single centre walking holiday

Get to know the many different valleys in this beautiful part of Austria from a comfortable base in the scenic village of Igls, near Innsbruck. The Valley Explorer is an opportunity to enjoy lush pastures, dense woodlands and idyllic farmhouses in a most revitalising location and the programme comprises interesting and picturesque walks that have been handpicked for a variety of views, mountain lakes and beautiful countryside. We visit unspoilt valleys where there is the opportunity to spot mountain wildlife and enjoy splendid flora with a professional and experienced mountaineering guide.
Daily walks usually last between 3-5 hours and go ahead regardless of weather conditions. The programme alternates each week and two walks are available each day, one easy and one more challenging. No previous mountaineering experience is necessary but good physical fitness is recommended for all participants. The Valley Explorer is suitable for walkers of any age, starting from 12 years.
