Music and Arts
Salzburg’s most famous musician, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was born in the Getreidegasse. Many concerts are performed during the summer months. The prestigious Salzburg Music Festival takes place from end of July to beginning of September. Visit the art galleries and palatial residences in Baroque and Rococo styles.

It couldn’t be simpler than on foot! All the main sights are located close together in the old town on the left bank of the Salzach river.
The ‘SALZBURG CARD’ offers free entrance to museums and major sights plus city limit buses and can be obtained locally via our representative. Cost: 24hrs: €22; 48 hrs: €30; 72 hrs: €35 (prices based on 2009).
