Backcountry Hiking at Glacier Lake
£389 | 3 days / 2 nights
Escape to the wilderness and splendour of the Canadian Rockies on this 3 day / 2 night hike in Glacier Lake area.
The trail starts just off the world famous Icefields Parkway and winds its way up through forest and into the open bench lands of the Alpine where you will see the historic Howse Pass and set up camp for the next 2 nights.
Your guide will tell you about the history and flora and point out wildlife as you hike and you enjoy meals in the wilderness by an open campfire. On day 2 you hike from the camp along the shores of Glacier Lake with spectacular views of glacier all around. All camping equipment, meals, fully qualified guide and transportation to the start of the hike are included.
Days 1 and 3 are approx. 3 to 4 hours (14km) of hiking / Day 2 is an optional hike of approx. 4 hours.
This adventure is suitable for all levels of ability as long as you are comfortable carrying approx. 25lb with your personal and some shared equipment.
This package can replace your final 2 nights in Jasper. Your holiday price will be reduced by the price of 2 extra nights.
