This superb 3 week holiday of a lifetime combines an Alaska cruise, the Rocky Mountaineer train and all the highlights of Western Canada at a leisurely pace. The tour starts in vibrant Vancouver before a memorable 7 night cruise to the glaciers, gold rush towns, and wildlife of Alaska spotting whales, eagles, bears and more. Then it's all aboard the Rocky Mountaineer for a spectacular two day rail journey to the Rockies. Finally you will get to explore Canada's most stunning National Parks with plenty of time for outdoor activities, excursions, walking and wildlife. The dramatic untamed wilderness of the Canadian Rocky Mountains is one of the ‘must-see’ natural wonders of the world. Our leisurely tour gives you time to enjoy all 3 resorts to the full, starting with 5 nights in magnificent Lake Louise, with its excellent walking trails and the sublime beauty of Moraine Lake and nearby Yoho National Park. Next we drive the spellbinding 230 km Icefields Parkway with its lofty peaks, giant glaciers and aquamarine lakes to Jasper. Here we enjoy 4 nights in this friendly little frontier town with time to explore the legendary beauty of Maligne Lake and the wide range of activities, excursions, walking and wildlife in the Rockies’ largest national park. Our final 5 nights are spent in the lively town of Banff with its stunning setting, wealth of shops, bars, restaurants, guided excursions and outdoor pursuits. In each resort our Inghams representative will be on hand to recommend how best to enjoy your holiday to the full.
Canadian Adventures
3 & 4 Centre plus Rail Holiday
TOUR A connects Vancouver on the Pacific Ocean with the untamed grandeur of the Canadian Rockies aboard the
famous Rocky Mountaineer train. We start with five nights in Vancouver before boarding the train for a spectacular two day journey to the Rockies. We spend four nights in the friendly frontier town of Jasper with time to enjoy its wide choice of excursions, walking and wildlife. We continue to Banff along the spell binding Icefields Parkway with its lofty peaks, hanging glaciers and turquoise lakes. Stop for lunch (included). Our final four nights are spent in the lively town of Banff. Here you’ll find a wealth of shops, outdoor activities and guided excursions. You must visit beautiful Lake Moraine and Lake Louise.
Alternatively take TOUR B and spend two nights in Vancouver followed by two nights in the mountain resort of Whistler. Then take the Rocky Mountaineer train from Whistler to Jasper and follow the same itinerary as TOUR A but with four nights in Jasper and five nights in Banff. In each resort an Inghams representative will be on hand to help you enjoy your holiday to the full.
