Niederau is in the beautiful Wildschönau, an unspoilt Alpine valley with no through traffic. Two cable cars run through the summer months to allow access to this wonderful area. Activity holidays are ideal for the region; there’s a great open air pool complex, tennis courts, the Dragon Kid’s Club (5-14yrs), mountain biking, canyoning and rafting all available to fill up your leisure time. You can also get to know the valley on the Bummelbahn leisure train. With 300km of well-marked paths, walking possibilities are endless, whether on the valley floor or up the mountain. Or for a real high, try a tandem flight with an instructor from the Paragliding School or visit the ‘Go Ape’ sky high rope course in the woods of Zauberwinkel.
