Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora lies in the north western corner of Slovenia, on the doorstep of Triglav National Park. Whilst the village is only a few minutes’ drive from both the Austrian and Italian borders, you will be able to experience true Slovenian friendliness and hospitality. The village is surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Julian Alps and the Karawanke Mountain peaks. The walking here is suitable for all levels of expertise. For some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable, and just a 15 minute walk from the village centre, a visit to Jasna Lake is a must. In the village, play tennis or mini-golf, browse the shops, sit outside one of the many cafés and bars or listen to one of the occasional band concerts. Perhaps hire a mountain bike or join one of the varied excursions which are on offer.
