The first day is spent enjoying Reykjavik, with its wide choice of optional excursions, before joining our tour bus. Our circular route takes us from the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in the west to Akureyri, Husavik and Lake Myvatn in the north. We cross the desolate central highlands en route to the eastern fjords, before continuing to the glaciers and lava plains of the vast Vatnajokull ice cap in the south.
