Escorted by an experienced Inghams guide, this tour is designed for those seeking a true taste of four of Switzerland’s contrasting regions. We are delighted to feature this fantastic 3-centre holiday which combines France with Switzerland and provides the opportunity to see 3 world-famous mountains - the Mont Blanc, Matterhorn and Eiger. Chamonix, Zermatt and Grindelwald are all lively Alpine resorts, full of character, and popular with both climbers and non-climbers alike! First stop is Chamonix in France with the Mont Blanc providing a magnificent backdrop to the resort. Onto Switzerland via Martigny and the Mont Blanc Express, passing forests and waterfalls, to reach car-free Zermatt, overlooked by the Matterhorn. Last stop is Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland, home of the Eiger and the start of numerous walking trails. In each resort, a huge variety of excursions by mountain railway and cable-car abound, and walkers will be delighted to find such a wide range of walking possibilities available.
