Lake Iseo is the fourth largest lake in Northern Italy. It is quieter and less developed than neighbouring Garda and has a perimeter of about 60km. The lakeside towns are linked by a public boat service which allows you to get from Lake Iseo hotels to other peaceful destinations. The main town of Iseo is on the south shore, its medieval origins evident in the street patterns, arcaded shopping areas and pleasant squares.
