Just 10km apart they share the invigorating mountain air, lush grazing pastures, and the magnificent walking area of 300km of marked trails. One of Austria’s most stunning panoramic high roads, the ‘Silvretta High Alpine Route’ stretches from the Paznaun Valley to Vorarlberg, and is a special drive not to be missed. This is also one of the Alps’ prime mountain biking areas with many dedicated biking trails. Both villages are low-key during summer, with activities centred around walking, plus a weekly brass band concert and Tyrolean evenings during high season.

Both villages have a handful of shops and cafés. The 'Silvretta Card' is excellent value for getting around the valley.
