Sirmione

The peninsula of Sirmione stretches out from the southern shore of Lake Garda. The entrance to the Old Town is via the bridge of the 13th Century Scaligero castle with its ‘inland dock’. As you venture further into the peninsula, the bustling streets give way to a peaceful landscape with a luxuriant vegetation of olive trees, cypresses, laurels and magnolias.
