This walk takes you alongthe northern beach of Garda towards the headland of the Punta San
Vigilio. Passing the impressive Villa Canossa, built in the 18th century,you continue to Punta San Vigilio which has a small hotel and restaurantwhere we stop for refreshments and admire the scenery. At the small village of Castei you will find superb views over the Baia delle Sirene,
the natural bay of San Vigilio. An enjoyable walk along the coast and footpaths of the lake.Madonna del Pino, Rocca del Garda & Bardolino
| Moderate | Approx 4 hrs |This walk takes you to the heights above Garda visiting the Santa Maria Assunta Church and Madonna Del Pino, a statue that is said to protect the village and lake. Once at the top of La Rocca del Garda, the hill that dominates the skyline of Garda, you can enjoy the views over Garda and the south of the lake. The return journey passes the monastery of Eremo Dei Camaldolesi, a historical site and well worth a visit. A fairly steep walk along trails to the top of La Rocca del Garda.
