Lugano is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll along the lake, or amidst the cobbled streets of the old town. A favourite is the weekly 'Parks and Gardens' guided walking tour around the town. More energetic walkers can take one of several funiculars up into the hills to follow the challenging walking through the colourful landscape. Take a short boat ride from Lugano to Capolago, and then the Monte Generoso for wonderful views.
