The Mayrhofen cable-cars give visitors access (from late May) to extensive trails in the Ziller Valley, with a total 1,700km of marked paths. Easy walks, as well as treks and high altitude Alpine tours offer varied walking experiences. The flora and fauna along the way is fascinating, with sightings of eagles, mountain goats, gentians and alpenrose to name but a few.

    Inghams Guided Wanderwalks

Join other Inghams guests on our exclusive pre-bookable guided walks led by local, English-speaking guides. Simply confirm your place at the time of booking and pay £8 per walk. Wanderwalks are popular so we recommend you book early.

We have put together a programme of walks designed to show you some of the best views in the Mayrhofen area. These vary from week to week and depend on weather conditions and ability. Some extra costs may apply (buses, lifts etc.) Easy to moderate walking, Mondays and Thursdays (subject to change). Details available locally.

    Zillertal Nature Park

The Zillertal Nature Park organisation also offers a programme of daily guided walks for approx. €5 per walk (possible extra cost for buses, lifts etc.). Included at some hotels (see individual descriptions). Details available locally.
