Walking Information
The Wildschönau area is a particularly beautiful region for walking, offering some 300km of well-kept hiking paths. There are many scenic walks to mountain huts and dairy farms and the two cable-cars in the valley provide easy access to the high peaks, some of which are over 2000 metres, offering fantastic views over the valley.

Undiscovered Wildschönau
Single centre walking tour
Still very much unspoilt and rural, the Wildschönau valley is great for gentle walking, with over 300km of walking paths. This holiday is a chance to get to parts of the valley not easily accessible to the ordinary walker; our professional walking guide will take you in a different direction each day to show you the hidden secrets of this picturesque area. The valley is a small agricultural community consisting of four villages dating back over 800 years; there is no industry and no through traffic. Rich in untouched nature, the fresh air here is known for its recuperative qualities.
