Walking Information
There are 1,300km of walking paths on the Ötz valley, and 250 peaks over 3,000 metres. From Obergurgl there are a variety of walks, including high alpine peaks to climb and many excellent walks to glaciers and mountain huts. Closeby is Hochgurgl, from where you can walk up to the Timmelsjoch pass and look across to the Italian Dolomites. There are also starting points for many walks from various villages in the valley including Vent, Sölden and Längenfeld.
