For keen walkers Andorra is a wonderful spot with a large number of well-marked routes exploring the rugged terrain and some unspoiled mountain valley sof Western Andorra. That Natural Park areas of Comapedrosa in La Massana and Sorteny in Ordino are certainly the highlights, or follow the 'Vardaguer Route'; the source of inspiration for one of Catalonias most notable poets.

Monday La Massana Scenic Route | Moderate | 3½ hrs | 1,200-1,575m
From La Massana we walk to the typical village of L'Aldosa. Through pine woods, we follow the 'Cami del Sola' path, with views of Pal and Sispony, passing meadows and typical 'bordas'. We return on a paved shady path.
Thursday Pla de l'Estany and Percanela | Slightly challenging | 5 hrs | 1,580-2,080m
From Arinsal a scenic circular walk up to Pla de l'Estany refuge via Bordas de Percanela, returning via Borda de la Coruvilla. Bus transport included for guests from the St Gothard and Ordino.
