Day 1-4 Filzmoos or St. Wolfgang

On arrival into Salzburg Airport you will be transferred to your first resort in the Austrian Alps.

Ease yourself into your holiday in Filzmoos, a picturepostcard village set in a peaceful valley at the base of the scenic Bischofsmütze and Dachstein mountains. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the neighbouring hills and take an optional half-day excursion to admire views of the panoramic Dachstein glacier.

St. Wolfgang occupies an enchanting setting on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, and is an excellent base for exploring the region. Join our optional excursions to Hallstatt, the most photographed village in the world and a tour of the Salzkammergut Lakes. A journey on the Schafberg cog railway to enjoy spectacular views over the lake or a boat trip on the lake are not to be missed.

Day 5 Transfer to Slovenia

Transfer via Salzburg airport to your second centre in Slovenia where you will be treated to a welcome drink by your hotel in Bled or Kranjska Gora.

Days 6-11 Bled or Kranjska Gora

Lake Bled is sure to enchant you with its fairytale appearance. Take a scenic walk around some of Bled’s neighbouring villages or in the hills around the resort, including an ascent to the medieval castle which overlooks the town.Experience Slovenian friendliness and hospitality in the picturesque village of Kranjska Gora. With a wide variety of walking trails around the resort, many leading to the Triglav National Park, Kranjska Gora offers wonderful opportunities to explore on foot.

Explore the area further by joining our optional excursion to the magnificent Julian Alps, passing through typical Slovenian villages with some spectacular scenery en route, or cross the border to Austria to visit the most beautiful lakeland area of Carinthia.

Days 12-14 Salzburg

Transfer to Salzburg for the final leg of your journey and a chance to take in the culture and wonderful architecture that this city has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll into the centre, or an organised tour of Salzburg including Mozart’s birthplace in the famous Getreidegasse, the Mirabell Gardens, St. Peter’s Benedictine Abbey, the cathedral and old market squares. Join our optional “Sound of Music” excursion – sit back and watch scenes from this classic film come to life which includes visits to Lake Fuschl and St.Gilgen.
