4 Centre Holidays (Kranjska Gora – Bovec – Lake Bohinj – Lake Bled)

10 or 11 Nights

  • DAYS 1 TO 3, KRANJSKA GORA: Following your arrival at Ljubljana Airport you will be transferred to your resort and hotel. After easing yourself into your stay in Kranjska Gora, on day 2 you will be taken on a guided walk to the Mt Martuljek waterfalls or Sleme Peak, the best viewing point of the Julian Alps. On your return stop at the Pri Ingotu log cabin for a genuine shepherd’s meal, or take the chairlift to Mt Vitranc and Mt Ciprinic. Day 3 is free for you to explore the area on your own or join one of our optional activities to Mostrajana and Pericnik waterfalls or join a bike tour to the Belopeska lakes.
  • DAYS 4 & 5, BOVEC: After your transfer over the stunning Vrsic pass (1,611m) to Bovec, you have a free day to rent a bike, explore the surroundings or take a scenic walk along the Soča river and visit the Triglav National Park museum. On day 5 enjoy a cable car ride up to Mt Kanin (2,587 m) on the Italian/Slovenian border and views as far as the Adriatic.
  • DAYS 6 & 7, LAKE BOHINJ: On day 6 you will be taken to Bohinj, via Most na Soči, an ancient Iron Age settlement located on a rocky crest above the Soča and Idrijca rivers. Take the car train from Most na Soči to Bohinj, and experience a dramatic 40 minute ride from the Italianate sparkle of the Soča Valley through the mountain to the alpine ruggedness of the mighty Lake Bohinj. Included on day 7 is a scenic guided walk (4 to 5 hours, easy walk) to Savica Waterfalls, one of Lake Bohinj’s prettiest falls.
  • DAYS 8 & 9 LAKE BLED: After a 30 minute trip to your hotel you have the rest of the day to take in the culture and architecture that Bled and its surroundings has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll into the centre and around the lake, or a more challenging walk to the medieval Bled castle. The castle terrace offers great views of the lake and island below, and a small wine centre. Use your last day to enjoy free bike rental around the beautiful forested roads of Bled’s neighbouring villages, hills and valleys. The numerous routes around Pokljuka and Mežakla can satisfy the most demanding mountain cyclists where plateaus offer pleasant cycling in the cool shadow of the pine forests.
  • DAY 10: Depart for the UK or extend your stay for 3 or 4 days in Ljubljana.

Please note: Wednesday 10 night departures will start in Kranjska Gora and follow the itinerary as described as above. Saturday 11 night departures will start in Lake Bled following the same itinerary in reverse order and spending 3 nights in Bohinj instead of 2.
