• DAYS 1-7: Start your holiday in the charming village of Chamonix. This lively resort is set right at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain, and has endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Stay in our exclusive Chalet Hotel Sapinére, conveniently located and with wonderful views of Mont Blanc. A great value way to enjoy comfortable accommodation in the Alp's top resorts, with packed lunches to take up the mountain, afternoon tea and home baked cake to return to, plus wine with dinner included.
• DAY 8 MONT BLANC EXPRESS: Transfer from Chamonix to Saas Fee, total journey time 3½ hrs (unescorted). Start your journey on the "Mont Blanc Express" train from Chamonix to Martigny before joining the Swiss Rail network to Visp, and finally a short bus ride up to Saas Fee. The journey has magnificent views throughout and will take you right through the heart of the mountains. Trains are comfortable and you can enjoy the views and relax onboard. Upgrades to 1st class tickets (Martingy to Visp only) for a supplement of £33 are available.
• DAYS 8-14: Arrive in Saas Fee, your Hotel is a short stroll from the station. Saas Fee is known as Switzerland's "Pearl of the Alps". Full of traditional charm, this traffic-free village is set high in the Valais region with fantastic walking opportunities and spectacular views all round.
