Escorted City Tour: Florence - Rome - Verona

DAY 1 (SAT)

Arrive at Verona airport, meet your Inghams representative and transfer directly to Florence (approx 3 hours by coach), your first city for 2 nights.
The hotel Roma is centrally located so why not take a stroll along the pretty streets. Use the reps welcome walk about to get your bearings.

DAY 2 (SUN)

Enjoy Florence either by wandering the city yourselves or taking a 3 hour city tour with our local guides (pay locally), who will show you the popular and most famous areas and land marks. The rest of the day is for you to relax and explore the city.

DAY 3 (MON)

Depart for Rome in the afternoon to make the most of your time in Florence. Enjoy the Florence-Rome Express train as it whisks you to the centre of Rome in about 1½ hours. Transfer to the Hotel Edera you will have plenty of time to settle into your new hotel and enjoy dinner in a local pizzeria or restaurant.

DAY 4 & 5 (TUES & WED)

In order to get the best out of the city you have theopportunity to join a guided city tour with a local and informative guide who willshow you the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and the Pantheon (paylocally). Or, if you would like to be more independent and explore yourselves maybemake your way to Piazza Navona where you can sit and watch the Roman city at work and play, and take an aperitivo before dinner. Your Inghams Representative is available to assist you with restaurant choices as well as the best places to go. You can also take the optional excursions to Tivoli – which includes Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este – or make your way to the Vatican and visit the Sistine chapel and the ever famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo’s.

DAY 6 (THURS)

Depart around 9am by train to Verona (approx 3hrs), transfer to The Maxim Hotel, and maybe take lunch in a local café in Piazza Bra and enjoy the view of the Arena di Verona. This relatively compact city is perfect for strolling and exploring.

DAY 7 (FRI)

A full day and evening in Verona to enjoy the city and its wonderful maze of streets and Piazzas. Dont forget at sunset to head for Piazza Bra and watch the sun set behind the famous Arena di Verona, also great for people watching!

DAY 8 (SAT)

Depart to Verona airport by coach for your return flight home.
