3 Centre Holiday – 10 or 11 Nights

DAY 1: Arrive at Rome airport and transfer to the resort of Passignano on Lake Trasimeno for 3 or 4 nights.
Trasimeno - Situated towards the north of Umbria bordering Tuscany. This is lake is a perfect place to stay to enjoy real Italian life and atmosphere. This almost unknown lake for the British traveller is hardly touched by tourism therefore creating an ideal relaxed and real Italian experience.
Due to the location of the lake and also the size means that you have plenty to see and do whilst in Trasimeno, where you can also visit some great and famous cultural and beauty spots such as Assisi, Perugia & Montepulciano.
DAY 4 OR 5: Transfer by minibus to your next Italian lake, Lake Bolsena. The transfer takes approximately 2 hours. Settle into your chosen new hotel.
Bolsena - Take time to explore the area of Lazio using Bolsena as a base. The Lazio region and Lake Bolsena are not very well known as a holiday destination so you will find the area relatively uncommercialised and very Italian. The way of life is laid back and informal and is never over crowded. The old town of Bolsena houses the medieval Monaldeschi castle that overlooks the town and lake and provides a perfect back drop and atmosphere to the local village. The promenade on the lake front is shaded by trees which make it the perfect spot to wander and enjoy the cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as the amazing views across the lake.
DAY 7 OR 8: Transfer by minibus to Rome and your chosen hotel.
Rome - The capital city of Italy and one of the most fascinating and historic in the country, 3 or 4 days are enough to explore all the key sites and landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps and the forum.
Piazza Navona is a central point of the city that is always busy and bustling, where you can experience real Roman life.
Wander the back streets of the city to test one of the many trattorias for a quick bowl of pasta for lunch. Spaghetti Carbonara originated in Rome and is always on the menu. Our 3 hour "Classical Rome Tour" will take you to the main sites by foot and by coach (payable locally).
In the evenings there is plenty of choice of restaurants within the city at reasonable prices, from the local pizzeria of the area to the main gourmet restaurants in the centre of town.
DAY 10 & 11: You will be collected from your hotel for your transfer back to Rome airport for your return flight home.
