DAY 1 & 2, Vancouver | Fly to Vancouver and a short transfer to your downtown hotel and Day 2 in Vancouver at leisure for sightseeing on a guided city tour (book and pay locally).
Days 3 to 8 - 7 Nights Hal Alaska Cruise
Cruise Day 1 Vancouver | Embark on HAL Zuiderdam from 12 pm onwards in time for the early evening departure and enjoy the sights of Vancouver.
Cruise Day 2 The Inside Passage | Scenic cruising north along a narrow maze of channels and enjoy incredible views of snow capped peaks, cascading waterfalls and wildlife.
Cruise Day 3 Juneau And Tracy Arm. Alaska, | Enjoy the sights of Alaska’s capital city Juneau and the stunning Mendenhall Glacier. Cruising to Tracy Arm (for service call only) enjoy the spectacular views of the twin Sawyer Glaciers.
Cruise Day 4 Skagway, Alaska | Enjoy a day in this friendly frontier town most famous as the gateway for the Yukon Gold Rush. Stroll down Broadway with its original frame houses and stores or book one of the excursions on offer such as a ride on the White Pass Railway.
Cruise Day 5 Glacier Bay, a day spent enjoying the spectacular scenery and wildlife of Glacier Bay makes this the highlight of any Alaska cruise
Cruise Days 6 Ketchikan, Alaska | The most southern town of Alaska, wedged between the Tongass Narrows and forested mountains, best known for Alaska’s native culture and the largest collection of standing totem poles.
Cruise Days 7 The Inside Passage | Head back south taking in the breathtaking scenery or just enjoy the many facilities on board. (Please note Itinerary can change subject to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather.)
Days 8, 9 & 10, Vancouver | Visit Stanley Park, Chinatown or historic Gastown or enjoy one of our optional excursions including scenic cruises to Victoria on Vancouver Island, whale-watching trips or a guided city tour.
Days 11 & 12, Rocky Mountaineer Train | All aboard the world-famous
Rocky Mountaineer for a spectacular two day rail journey to the Rockies. First day highlights include Hells Gate in Fraser canyon and overnight stop in Kamloops. Our second day we enter the dramatic Caribou and Monashee mountains, with glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife, before passing Mount Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We arrive late afternoon into Jasper.
Days 13 to 16, Jasper & National Park | Located in the Rockies largest National Park, Jasper has a friendly laid-back frontier atmosphere with a wide range of excursions, recreational and walking opportunities. Don’t miss a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake, white-water rafting or hiking to Angel Glacier. (Excursions bookable locally).
Days 17 to 21, Banff & National Park | Start with a spellbinding 230km trip along the Icefields Parkway, one of the World’s great drives. Arrive in the lively town of Banff with its many shops, restaurants and excursion possibilities. Highlights include the gondola and Lake Louise.
