DAYS 1-3 ÅLESUND (SUNDAY - TUESDAY NIGHTS ex Heathrow or Manchester): Fly to Ålesund for a 20 minute transfer to this vibrant Art Nouveau city perched on the Atlantic Ocean. Explore its museums, ocean aquarium and range of excursions to nearby fjords, small islands, bird sanctuary and fishing communities. N.B. Guests on direct Gatwick flight arrive on Saturday with 4 nights in Ålesund.

DAYS 4-7 LOEN (WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): A spectacular 3 hour bus trip to Loen through some of Norway’s most impressive fjord and mountain scenery. Trips to the famous Geiranger Fjord or to the emerald lakes and ice-blue glaciers of the Lodal and Briksdal valleys are a must.

DAYS 8-10 BALESTRAND (SUNDAY - TUESDAY NIGHTS): A scenic 3 hour bus transfer via Jolster Lake to idyllic Balestrand on magnificent Sognefjord. Take a trip into the Gaular mountains or join a fjord cruise to Fjaerland and the Jøstedal glacier.

Return by coach (3½ hrs) on Wednesday to Bergen Airport for your flight home or extend your tour with a 4 night stay in your choice of Ulvik or Bergen as follows:

DAYS 11-14 ULVIK OR BERGEN (WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): Ulvik as 4th centre: A 3 hour bus transfer over the Sognefjord and Vikafjell mountains via Voss to Ulvik.
Bergen as 4th centre: A glorious 3½ hour scenic express boat ride along the magnificent Sognefjord and through lovely coastal islands to Bergen.
