DAYS 1-3 BERGEN (SUNDAY - TUESDAY NIGHTS): Fly to Bergen for a short bus transfer to this colourful harbour city. Explore the old Bryggen wharf area with its many galleries, museums, thriving fish and flower markets, classical concerts & funicular railway.

DAYS 4-7 LOEN (WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): A glorious 4½ hour express boat transfer to Måloy through lovely coastal island scenery, continuing by bus along Nordfjord to Loen. The famous Geiranger Fjord excursion and glittering emerald lakes and ice-blue glacial arms of the Lodal and Briksdal valleys with their wonderful walking terrain are a must.

DAY 8-10 BALESTRAND (SUNDAY - TUESDAY NIGHTS): A scenic 3 hour bus trip via Jolster Lake over the Gaular Mountains to idyllic Balestrand on the shores of the magnificent Sognefjord. Boat, bike or stroll along this picturesque fjord or join the optional excursion up Fjaerlandfjord to the majestic Jøstedal Glacier.

Return by bus (3½ hrs) on Wednesday to Bergen Airport for your flight home or extend your tour with a 4 night stay in your choice of Ulvik as follows:

DAY 11-14 ULVIK (WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): An inspirational 3 hours bus transfer across the Sognefjord and Vikafjell mountains via Voss to Ulvik on the beautiful Hardangerfjord. Optional excursions include the ‘Norway In A Nutshell’ fjord cruise and Flåm mountain railway or the famous Vøringfossen waterfalls.
