DAY 1 BERGEN (WEDNESDAY NIGHT): Fly to Bergen for a short bus transfer to this colourful harbour city. Explore the old Bryggen wharf area with its galleries, museums, thriving fish and flower markets and Mount Fløyen funicular railway.
DAYS 2-4 ULVIK (THURSDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): After the morning exploring Bergen enjoy a scenic 3 hour bus transfer along beautiful Hardangerfjord to the picturesque fjordside village of Ulvik. In addition to several panoramic walks optional excursions include the Vøringfossen Waterfalls, a drive up Osa Mountain or a scenic fjord cruise to Lofthus and Utne.
DAYS 5-7 BALESTRAND (SUNDAY - TUESDAY NIGHTS): By bus to Voss where we take the train to Myrdal to join the famous 'Norway In A Nutshell' funicular mountain railway to Flåm. Next we enjoy a scenic cruise along Sognefjord to lovely Balestrand with its captivating fjordside location. Visit Hopperstad stave church in Vik, drive up the impressive Gaular Mountains waterfall route or take a memorable ferry excursion up Fjærlandfjord to the majestic Jøstedal glacier.
WEDNESDAY: Return by coach (3½ hrs) across the Vikafjell mountains via Voss to Bergen Airport for your flight to the UK or extend your holiday with a 4 night stay in Bergen as follows:

DAYS 8-11 BERGEN (WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY NIGHTS): A scenic 3½ hour express boat transfer along the majestic Sognefjord through coastal islands to Bergen's inner harbour for a short transfer to your hotel.
