Still very much unspoilt and rural, the Wildschönau valley is great for gentle walking, with over 300km of walking paths. The valley is a small agricultural community consisting of four villages dating back over 800 years; there is no industry and no through traffic. Rich in untouched nature, the fresh air here is known for its recuperative qualities.

Walking in the Wildschönau

The Undiscovered Wildschönau tours consist of five interesting and picturesque walks of 5 - 6 hours and one half day walk that have been handpicked for a variety of views, mountain lakes and beautiful countryside. No previous mountaineering experience is necessary but good physical fitness is strongly recommended for all participants. Wildschönau holidays are suitable for walkers of any age, starting from 12 years.
