Fantastic walking tour along Tirol’s famous route
The Eagle’s Trail is Austria’s most
beautiful long distance walk, covering
280km of terrain in the Tyrol. The
trail spreads like an eagle in flight,
from East to West, taking you through
woodlands, ancient glaciers, alpine
villages and mountain huts. We join
this famous route in the lovely lakeside
village of Walchsee, nestled between
the crystal-clear lake and majestic
Wild Emperor mountain range. From here
we follow the trail through lush alpine
pastures and over mountain passes before
descending into the picturesque village
of Mariastein. You will be enthralled as we go past ice caves and mountain lakes on our way to the village of Achenkirch, near stunning and unspoilt Lake Achensee. Here there are a few days to venture out on more guided walks or to relax and enjoy the scenery in this quiet beauty spot of the Austrian Tyrol.

Included:
Guided walks with a qualified mountaineering guide. All walkers require good level of fitness for the tour.
Equipment including poles, rucksack, drinking flask, rain protection, suncream and walking map of region.
Transfers to and from walks, luggage transportation between resorts and lift tickets required (Day 3-8).
Meals half-board in each hotel including buffet breakfast and 4-course dinner. Once daily choice for vegetarians.
