The Mayrhofen cable cars give visitors access to extensive trails in the Zillertal valley, including 200km of marked paths. Easy walks, as well as treks and high altitude Alpine tours offer varied walking experiences. Friday Steinerkogel and Brandberg £7

Walk to the Steinerkogel mountain restaurant with panoramic views into the Ziller valley. Continue through alpine pastures to the mountain village of Brandberg. Returning to Mayrhofen, stopping at the Zillergrund restaurant on the way.
