Undiscovered Wildschönau
Single centre walking holiday
Still very much unspoilt and rural,
the Wildschönau valley is great for
gentle walking, with over 300km of
walking paths. This holiday is a chance
to get to parts of the valley not easily
accessible to the ordinary walker;
our professional walking guide will
take you in a different direction each
day to show you the hidden secrets
of this picturesque area. The valley
is a small agricultural community consisting
of four villages dating back over 800
years; there is no industry and no
through traffic. Rich in untouched nature, the fresh air here is known for its recuperative qualities. The walking programme consists of four interesting and picturesque walks of 5 - 6 hours and one half day wak that have been handpicked for a variety of views, mountain lakes and beautiful countryside. No previous mountaineering experience is necessary but good physical fitness is strongly recommended for all participants. The holiday is suitable for walkers of any age, starting from 12 years.
