To give you a full flavour of the destination you are visiting, we offer a selection of inspiring day trips and evenings out. You can also benefit from some of our great offers including half-price excursions in Austria and Italy and half-price travel on the superb Swiss transport network.
You can explore natural wonders such as the Krimml waterfalls, discover historic sights from Verona’s Roman amphitheatre to the prehistoric caves in Peroc, or breathe in the fresh mountain air on one of our many guided walks.

City discovery
On our city introduction pages you will find helpful information about what you can see and do around town. Some of our cities also host world-famous summer festivals, such as the BudaFest in Hungary and the Florence and Salzburg Music Festivals. Do not miss the spectacular open-air opera in Verona’s Roman theatre, with performances on most nights from June to August. Opera tickets can be prebooked through Inghams.
