Sunday : ‘Roman Footsteps’ Moderate | 3 hours | 997 - 1143 ft.We follow the old Roman road out of town up into the hills to enjoy the nature and splendid views of the lake and its surroundings. The walk takes in a Flavian amphitheatre and small-holdings growing fruit and other local produce.Thursday : ‘Medieval Bolsena Walk’Easy | 3 hours | 997 - 1065 ft.We walk up into Bolsena’s old medieval centre with its castle and Etruscan excavations, then take country roads via a 15th Century church and Madonna di Giglio convent back to town.
