in the bustling port of Ålesund, situated
directly on the Atlantic Ocean and
recently voted Norway’s most beautiful
city. From here we travel over the
Sunnmøre Alps, past the spectacular
Geirangerfjord, to spend 4 nights in
Loen on Nordfjord with its sparkling
lakes and glaciers amidst what is probably
the fjords’ greatest display of natural
beauty. The final 3 nights of our 3
centre holiday are spent at the idyllic
fjordside village of Balestrand on magnificent Sognefjord. There is now the option of adding the picturesque fjordside village of Ulvik on beautiful Hardangerfjord or travelling by express boat to Bergen’s colourful harbour as a 4t h centre.
