Itinerary: Fjord Favourites
Days 1-3: Bergen (Wednesday - Friday nights)Fly to Bergen for a short coach transfer to the colourful harbour city of Bergen. Explore the old Bryggen wharf area with its many galleries, museums, thriving fish and flower markets, classical concerts & funicular railway. For full resort details
Days 4-7: Loen (Saturday - Tuesday nights)A glorious 4½ hour express boat transfer to Måloy through lovely coastal island scenery, continuing by coach along Nordfjord to Loen. The famous Geiranger Fjord excursion and glittering emerald lakes and ice-blue glacial arms of the Lodal and Briksdal valleys with their wonderful walking terrain are a must. For full resort details
Day 8-10: Balestrand (Wednesday - Friday nights)A scenic 3 hr coach trip via Jolster Lake over the Gaular Mountains to idyllic Balestrand on the shores of the magnificent Sognefjord. Boat, bike or stroll along this picturesque fjord or join the optional excursion up Fjaerlandfjord to the majestic Jøstedal Glacier. For full resort details Return by coach (3½ hrs) on Saturday to Bergen Airport for your flight home or extend your tour with a 4 night stay in your choice of Ulvik or Voss as follows:

Day 11-14: Voss or Ulvik (Saturday - Tuesday nights)A 2½ hour coach transfer across the Sognefjord and over Vikafjell mountains to the lakeside village of Voss where the ‘Norway In A Nutshell’ fjord cruise and Flåm mountain railway are a must.
