Guided Walking in Saas Fee
The walking opportunities in this region are superb and paths are well-marked. The Saas valley has a rich diversity of alpine flora, one of the highest larch forests in Europe, and an abundance of wildlife - look out for marmots, chamois and even ibex. Post bus services offer access into the valley, and cable-cars & gondolas take walkers to the higher trails and viewpoints. Adventurous walkers can reach the Swiss-Italian border via the Monte Moro ‘smugglers’ pass from the Mattmark Dam.
