be booked in advance when you confirm your holiday, and others can be purchased in resort via our representative.

City discovery
On our city introduction pages you will find helpful information about what you can see and do around town. Some of our cities also host world-famous summer festivals, such as the BudaFest in Hungary and the Florence and Salzburg Music Festivals. Do not miss the spectacular open-air opera in Verona’s Roman theatre, with performances on most nights from June to August. Opera tickets can be prebooked through Inghams.

Half-price excursions in Austria and Italy
Exclusive to Inghams, our prebookable half-price card gives a 50% discount on coach excursions from most resorts in Austria and all resorts on Lake Garda in Italy. If prebooked, this card costs £17 for Austria and £19 for Italy, representing great value.
Half-price travel in Switzerland
If you travel by air or rail to Switzerland you receive half-price travel on the outstanding
Swiss rail network. Children up to 15 years inclusive travel free.
Free excursions in hotels
Some of our hotels give free excursions to all our guests, such as guided walks and bicycle hire. These offers are listed in hotel descriptions under Inghams Plus.
Outdoor activities
Our resorts are perfect places to try a new sport or practice one you already know. Summer skiing and snowboarding, horse riding, paragliding, kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing are just some of the activities available.
For cycling enthusiasts, most lakes have easy cycle tracks, many of our hotels rent out bicycles and some offer free bicycle hire.
