Family Specials
Look out for our ‘Family Specials’ hotels which offer the very best child discounts. These discounts range from a minimum of 30% to 65% on halfboard in selected properties for the entire season.

Child Prices in Switzerland from £159
(including flights, transfers & accommodation)
We offer holidays for children up to 11 years inclusive in a wide selection of hotels for just £155 including halfboard* if travel is by SWISS, BA, Easyjet or KLM. This applies to all durations of holiday. (Room and flight supplements may apply.)
* Bed & breakfast at Hotel Rex, Zermatt.

Teenagers (12 – 16 yrs)
Remember many of our Family Special discounts apply to teenagers as well as children (2-11yrs)! Look for details of these reductions and child/teenager ages at the bottom of each price panel.

Free Rail Travel for Children in Switzerland
Children aged 6 to 15 years inclusive travel free during their holiday on most Swiss railways, boats and postbuses when travelling with at least one PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN holding a valid travel ticket. Please phone our reservations department (020 8780 4433) immediately after booking, to reserve the special Swiss Family Card and to advise us of children’s ages. Children under 6 travel free without the Swiss Family Card. The card is not provided for accommodation only, self drive or bookings with car hire.

Infants
Children under two years of age on the date of return travel, and travelling on an adult’s lap (unless a vacant seat is available) fly for £29 on all European charter and scheduled flights and £85 for North American flights. (No luggage allowance is given).
Clients requesting a cot for an infant are advised to book a room able to take an extra bed, if available, as space in the room may otherwise be a little cramped. Hotel charges for cots, meals and service must be paid directly to the hotel.

Free Insurance for Children
Save £45 on a 14 night holiday.
Children under 16 have free insurance cover, provided their parents are covered under the full Inghams insurance policy. See ‘insurance’ for further details.

Notes on child Reductions
These apply to one or two children (aged 2 to 11 years inclusive at the date of return to the UK unless otherwise specifed) in extra beds sharing a room with two full fare-paying passengers (if room size permits). Percentage discounts apply to all holidays of 7 nights of more. For durations less than 7 nights, the discount is halved (except for City add-ons). (An extra bed is provided for children from 2 years, if a cot is preferred an extra charge may be made by the hotelier to be paid directly.) Special Child Prices in Switzerland apply to single centre holidays only.
