  Visit a local husky farm including talk about husky life with coffee in a Kota and a memorable scenic sleigh ride.

  • Santa's Secret Hideway

  • Snowmobile Safaris

  2 hour excursion. An exhilarating 25km ride through breathtaking arctic scenery. Choose locally between a family daytime trip or an evening adult trip "In Search of the Northern Lights". Snowmobiles are fun and easy to drive on your own or share. Longer snowmobile safaris available locally.

  • Visit Santa at Santapark

  7 hour excursion (December only). 2½ hrs drive away in an indoor grotto theme park. Includes meeting Santa in his workshop, Elf school diploma, Mrs Santa's gingerbread bakery, Santa's Post Office, Ice gallery & bar, Arctic Circle crossing ice arch, Four Seasons Magic Train.

  Times and distances are approximate and may vary due to weather and other conditions. Snowmobile, Husky & Reindeer Safaris child age 4-12yrs. Children 0-3yrs FREE but only allowed on mini husky & reindeer safaris. Santa's Secret Hideaway child age 3-15yrs (0-2yrs FREE) and Santapark 4-15yrs (0-3yrs FREE). Children may be required to pay locally for any transportation to the free excursions. Snowmobile drivers must be 18yrs and bring a full driver's licence with them.

  • Lainio SnowHotel (Overnight)
    

  An overnight stay in the SnowHotel is a unique and memorable experience. It includes a guided tour of the Snow Village which itself is an awesome sight.
  
  Its walls are made entirely of snow and beautiful ice sculptures adorn its rooms, courtyards, ice bar, restaurant and Ice Chapel. Guests are provided with high quality arctic thermal sleeping bags, shower and toilet facilities, room wake-up call with hot berry juice and buffet breakfast in a warm log restaurant and a diploma of overnight stay.

  Lainio Snow Village is located 18km from Ylläs Saaga Hotel, 30km from all other Ylläs accommodation and 45km from Levi.

  The overnight stay can be pre-booked but the exact day of the week will only be confirmed within 48hrs of booking as all reservations are subject to availability.

  A weekly afternoon visit to Lainio Snow Village without an overnight stay is bookable locally from both Ylläs and Levi subject to minimum numbers.

  Please note: This excursion will no longer be available from Levi by snowmobile transfer. It is still possible from Levi with taxi transfers, and it is still possible from Ylläs either by taxi or by snowmobile transfer.
