Andorra has 284kms of skiing and almost unlimited potential for fun in the snow. The principality boasts 2 unique and attractive ski areas: The Grandvalira and Vallnord. The impressive Grandvalira spans 6 resorts and villages including Pas de la Casa, Soldeu and El Tarter and over 193kms of terrain with almost all of it above 1800 metres.

The Grandvalira lift system even boasts the same capacity as Tignes and Val d’Isère’s Espace Killy, serving 250,000 skiers an hour! Vallnord to the west is fast becoming the perfect all-round ski destination, with great appeal for skiers of all abilities. Add recent lift improvements to the three resorts of Arinsal, Pal and Arcalis, and it’s got what it takes to compete with the top resorts!

Skiing in Grandvalira & Vallnord Areas

Both areas ideally suit beginners and intermediate skiers, while the more advanced skier will find plenty to enjoy on the more challenging slopes of Grau Roig. The impressive lift system has state-of-the-art gondolas and speedy chairs, which allow you to cover the entire terrain easily, and really get those piste-miles under your belt, whether you are a skier or border.

The Soldeu ski school has a reputation as one of the best in Europe, with excellent English-speaking instructors offering expert and friendly tuition, whether it is your first time or you want to improve your carving skills. 

Ski Holidays in Grandvalira & Vallnord Areas

The super-ski areas of Grandvalira and the resorts of Soldeu and Pas de la Casa offer a once weekly link with Arinsal's separate Vallnord area just over a half-hour bus ride away (small local charge). Whichever of our resorts you stay in, your area lift pass includes a 'Ski Away Day' in the other area, so on your week's holiday with us, you can ski all of Andorra!

Pas de la Casa

The highest of the Andorran resorts, Pas de la Casa sits right on the border with France, with its duty-free status adding to the excellent value for money for which Andorra is renowned. It is the liveliest of our three resorts here, with a good range of pubs, bars and clubs to choose from. (More info on Pas de la Casa)

Soldeu

Many skiers' Andorran favourite, combining a traditional stone-clad village centre with good facilities, vibrant après-ski, and above all great access to the extensive Grandvalira ski area.
