Dolomites Ski Resorts

If you love to eat up the ski-miles, and want to do so on snow-sure slopes in simply glorious scenery, then you have come to the right place. You'd need to combine the 3 Valleys and Espace Killy in France, then throw in Austria's huge Arlberg area too, to get anywhere near close to the Dolomiti Superski's staggering 1,200km of pistes! Add Italian style and flair, great value, wonderful food and wine, plus a sunset turning the craggy Dolomite peaks a rosy pink, and it's no wonder this area has so many passionate fans.

Skiing in the Dolomites

With so much to explore and enjoy, ask your Inghams Rep for our recommended ski tours, which show the best routes to follow around the peaks, valleys and villages of the area. One of these is the famous 'Sella Ronda' (highlighted in yellow on the piste map displayed on the ski area tab), which makes a wonderful day's intermediate skiing or boarding, and can be followed in either direction around the central Sella massif.

La Villa

Corvara

A lovely old village that has developed into one of the top ski resorts in Italy, with a direct link onto the Sella Ronda ski circuit, and an entertaining range of après-ski venues and events. (More info on Corvara)

Colfosco

Colfosco is a pretty village next door to Corvara, which shares the same welcoming atmosphere and is just as well placed to maximise the vast skiing opportunities the Alta Badia ski region has to offer. (More info on Colfosco)

Cortina

One of the most filmed, photographed, skied and visited resort in the Italian Alps. Set to the east of the Sella Ronda circuit, it is called the 'Queen of the Dolomites' and is renowned for the excellent selection of skiing as well as superb accommodation, bars, restaurants and shopping. Arabba

A small, traditional village, known partly for its steeper slopes, which are popular with good intermediates and expert skiers, and well placed for the Marmolada glacier ski area. (More info on Arabba)

Selva & Ortisei

Right on the Sella Ronda, Selva is the big name in the Val Gardena, with a lively centre and excellent hotels, whilst neighbouring Ortisei provides a charming and picturesque alternative. (More info on Selva & Ortisei)

Canazei / Val di Fassa

A small but well established resort with a welcoming atmosphere, direct links onto the Sella Ronda, and plenty going on come après-ski time, including an excellent pool and spa centre. (More info on Canazei / Val di Fassa).
