Paradiski Ski Resorts

Set high in the Tarentaise region of the French Alps, the slopes of Les Arcs and La Plagne – each already famously large areas in themselves - were joined a few years back to create one of the largest lift-linked ski areas in the world. Totalling over 425km of pistes, plus untold acres of off-piste to explore, the Paradiski area is now a magnet for skiers of all abilities.

Skiing in the Paradiski

Especially suited to keen intermediates, who will enjoy the long, wide open runs and fast, efficient lift system, the area offers plentiful challenges for expert skiers too. Beginners meanwhile will relish the great snow quality and that wonderful ‘top of the world’ feeling that come with the height of these resorts. Whichever side of the area you stay on, the trip on the unique double-decker Vanoise Express cable-car between the areas is a spectacular ride, and there are 17 villages in all across the whole area to tick off during your week.

Les Arcs

We feature the three best and highest ‘villages’ of Les Arcs, which are all named by their respective heights in metres. Arc 1800 is the largest centre, with the quickest access to the La Plagne cable-car link. Arc 1950 is a more recent, traditional development of high quality apartments, whilst Arc 2000 is home to our selection of catered chalets. (More info on Les Arcs)

La Plagne

We have accommodation in five of La Plagne's ten separate ‘villages’ to choose from. Plagne-Centre is the original heart of the system, with a good range of facilities, with Plagne-Villages and Plagne-Soleil being smaller, but architecturally more attractive! Belle Plagne is a generally quieter option, and our four new detached catered chalets are all in Plagne 1800. (More info on La Plagne).
