Beginners skiing in Chamonix

Not traditionally considered a beginner's resort, we recommend that beginners stay in Les Houches where there are a good variety of gentle nursery slopes, especially at le Touchet and the new beginners' area at the top of the Prarion gondola. 

Intermediates skiing in Chamonix

Great for intermediates wishing to progress to off piste and narrow reds and blacks. Most will be able to tackle the famous Vallée Blanche (with a guide) and will enjoy discovering the many and varied runs at Flégère.

Advanced skiing in Chamonix

A classic resort: the Grands Montets in Argentière offers the most difficult terrain, although Brévent, Flégère and le Tour all also offer some unforgettable itineraries. For powder hounds, all Chamonix' areas offer some of the best off-piste available anywhere in the world.

Snowboarding in Chamonix

In Chamonix, the main beginners' areas are covered mostly by drag lifts. For intermediate and advanced boarders, Chamonix provides outstanding terrain, both on and off-piste at Brévent, whilst Flégère and le Tour offer great opportunities for jumps and gullies.
