The traditional Hotel Alpbacherhof is proud of its four star superior rating and remains a firm favourite with Inghams guests. Centrally located in Alpbach, the hotel combines a homely atmosphere and comforts with high standards of cuisine and offers a superb spa area with a heated pool.

Panorama Spa

The hotel has made a large investment into its wellness area which now includes multiple saunas and steam baths, pine thermal bath, infrared cabin and relaxation room. It is the perfect place to take in your surroundings and chill after a day on the slopes. The hotel also has an indoor/outdoor panoramic swimming pool and whirlpool.

Full Board

Feel free to work up an appetite out on the slopes as all catering is taken care off. There is a buffet room with show kitchen and an excellent afternoon buffet in case you get peckish between meals.

Skiing and snowboarding in Alpbach

Ski Alpbach! This delightful, award-winning, quintessentially traditional Austrian village with its gothic spired church, narrow streets, and minimal traffic is one of the most attractive villages in the Austrian Tyrol. Its traditional wooden farmhouses are set against the backdrop of the Gratlspitz peaks.

A gondola links Inneralpbach with the The Ski Juwel Area, giving beginners and intermediates an even wider selection of runs to choose from.

Non-skiers can enjoy a variety of activities and in the evenings horse-drawn sleigh rides to the Rossmoos Inn for a mulled wine are great fun.

All guests receive the ‘Alpbach Seenland Card’ which gives either free participation or reductions on activities such as snowshoeing, guided cross-country skiing, ice-skating and torchlit walks.

The resort has won awards for being “Austria’s most beautiful village”, and having the “purest air” in the country.

Bars and restaurants in Alpbach

There are a number of quality resort restaurants and mountain bars to try out in Alpbach.

The Böglalm is a great spot for some mulled wine or a hot chocolate. The Wiedersbergerhorn Hütte at the top of the Horn lift is a convenient meeting point to fuel up for lunch.

In resort there is a good variety of restaurants in and around Alpbach. As is typical of Austrian villages, many of them are based in the hotel's bars and restaurants.

Comfort Romantik Austrian twin rooms are around 30m² and have a north-facing balcony. These rooms have a bath and sleep up to three using the sofa bed in the lounge area.

Comfort Alpin Austrian twin rooms are around 22m² and have an south-facing balcony. These rooms have a shower and sleep up to two.

Comfort Junior Austrian twin rooms are around 30m² and have a south-facing balcony. These rooms have a bath and a lounge area but can only sleep two adults.

Comfort Panorama Austrian twin rooms are around 30m² and have a south-facing balcony. These rooms have a shower and a lounge area and can sleep up to three using a single sofa bed.

Alpbach has very limited flat sections in and around the village and we do not recommend this resort for guests with limited mobility.
