Hotel Evaldo is a family-run hotel, and you'll love the warm welcome. It has a traditional alpine feel that carries through to the bedrooms. It's a popular base with Inghams guests wanting to hit the Sellaronda.

Location

The hotel's about a five-minute walk from the centre of Arabba and a little further to the ski lifts with a shuttle service in the mornings and afternoons. 

Relaxation

Relax and unwind in the wellness area with first-class beauty treatments, or enjoy the sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool or a dip in the indoor pool.  

Restaurant

Tuck into some afternoon cakes when you return from the slopes before your tasty four-course dinner. Check out the wine cellar, with a variety of bottles available for the perfect match with your meal.

Arabba

Ski Holidays in Arabba

Of the resorts that make up the celebrated Sellaronda circuit, Arabba has some of the most interesting slopes, and is a real skiers’ holiday base. It boasts excellent, challenging pistes, and the stunning slopes of the mighty Marmolada glacier are within easy reach. The highly recommended Hidden Valley is close by too. Part of the spectacular Dolomiti Superski area, the modern lift system ensures Arabba links easily to the Sella Ronda, with Canazei in the Val di Fassa to the West, and Corvara in the sunny Alta Badia ski area to the North. This compact, friendly village has a natural ice skating rink and a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias. Après-ski is low key and relaxed, the skiing anything but! The fast 'Ornella' run down to Pescoi is one of the big thrills for local skiers – and one of the biggest local challenges.

Rooms

Superior Twin rooms sleep up to three people (extra bed is a sofa bed) and are around 21m². They have a balcony and bath or shower.

Junior Suites sleep up to four people with a double sofa bed in the semi-partitioned lounge area. These rooms have a balcony.

Standard Rooms for sole use are available and come with a shower.

There's no pavement from the village centre to the hotel so it's not recommended for those with walking difficulties.

Lift pass information

Featuring a linked ski area of 1220km on one lift pass, the Dolomite Superski Pass is worth every penny. Walker's pass available & purchased locally. Children born after 01/01/2016 can collect a free ski pass in resort. Proof of age will be required.

Levels of tuition

  • Beginner - never skied before
  • Level 1 - advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes 
  • Level 2 - low intermediate, snowplough turns and start to ski parallel
  • Level 3 - good intermediate, parallel turns 
  • Advanced - fully confident on all slopes, looking to improve technique
