St. Anton100 cm335 cm68 of 6819 Mar 2012So......the snow is yet to arrive in St Anton but with cloudy, foggy conditions this morning and temperatures set to drop over the weekend, fingers crossed we will get that last bit of snow before the season comes to an end. There is still plenty of skiing to be had on the slopes anyway and the colder conditions will keep the slush at bay for longer!
St. Christoph140 cm350 cm65 of 6817 Apr 2012It keeps on snowing! Mid april and, though the lower slopes are softening quite quickly now, upper slopes are still skiing well. The season is over now on coming Saturday and so is the winter here. I look forward to come back for another time. Thanks to all my guests, who have been here with me for this extraordinary winter. Obertauern130 cm230 cm26 of 2601 Apr 2012Everyone was certainly pleased with the surprising dump of snow on April Fool's Day (except the coach driver who had to pull out the chains one last time). It certainly has been a splendid last week to finish off the season. But the rain falling for the last two days is as clear a sign as any that the season has come to an end. Indeed, my lasts guests are leaving the resort tomorrow, on the 7th of April. Thank you 607 times to each and every of my guests for having made my season in Obertauern so easy and fun - it has been my absolute pleasure to host you, I hope you also had a fantastic time, and I hope to see you next Winter 2012-2013!
