| Davos | 102 cm | 232 cm | 60 of 60 | 19 Mar 2012 | We have had a good amount of fresh snow over yesterday and overnight, the skies are now clear and blue and it promises to be a lovely day on the mountain. There was still masses of snow here even before the recent snow fall and conditions have generally been very good for this time of year. Freezing conditions overnight have lead to packed groomed piste in the morning, which has been softening up over lunch time and then spring snow conditions in the afternoon. The lowest of runs are past there best but still very skiable and there is still no grass to be seen on the lower slopes. There is still plenty i(f a little slushy snow) on the cross country trails at resort level and some very decent cross country skiing to be had in the beautiful side valleys here. After such a great amount of snowfall this winter, the snow depth here is still very deep. | Read more |

| Verbier | 5 cm | 265 cm | 23 of 35 | 11 Apr 2012 | After just receiving 10cm of new snow a couple of days ago a new front came whizzing in over Tuesday night and dropped another 10-15 cm above Ruinettes. The temperatures have risen and fallen dramatically over the last week but over Wednesday it was quite mild. In resort the 5cm that did fall did not lie on the roads and started to settle and melt quite quickly. Up the mountain the new snow is very welcome as it disguises the many brown areas that have been showing through the snow over the past week. The weather over the next few days looks very cloudy with more snow on the way. Temperatures will remain mild although the wetness will create a chill at times. The freezing level is to stay around 2000m and winds should stay light. | Read more |
